Cyber Code of Conduct

Respect Privacy: Always respect the privacy of individuals and organizations. Avoid unauthorized access to private information, and handle sensitive data with utmost confidentiality and integrity.

Ethical Hacking:
If engaged in security testing or ethical hacking, do so with explicit permission from relevant parties. Never exploit vulnerabilities for personal gain or malicious intent.

Integrity and Honesty:
Maintain honesty and integrity in all online interactions. Do not engage in activities such as spreading false information, impersonation, or deceitful practices.

Responsible Sharing: Exercise caution when sharing information online. Ensure that shared content is accurate, appropriate, and does not infringe upon the rights of others.

Cyber Hygiene: Practice good cyber hygiene by keeping software up to date, using strong and unique passwords, and implementing necessary security measures to protect digital assets.

Respect Intellectual Property: Respect intellectual property rights by refraining from unauthorized distribution or reproduction of copyrighted material. Give credit where it is due and obtain proper permissions when necessary.

Zero Tolerance for Cyberbullying: Do not engage in cyberbullying or any form of online harassment. Treat others with respect and empathy, and report any instances of cyberbullying promptly.

Data Protection: Adhere to data protection laws and regulations when handling personal or sensitive data. Implement appropriate security measures to safeguard data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

Accountability: Take responsibility for your actions in cyberspace. Acknowledge mistakes, rectify any harm caused, and strive to learn from past experiences to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Continuous Learning: Stay informed about emerging cyber threats, best practices, and technological advancements. Continuously update your skills and knowledge to adapt to evolving cybersecurity challenges.

Global Citizenship: Recognize the interconnected nature of the digital world and the impact of individual actions on a global scale. Contribute positively to the online community and promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness and collaboration.

Report Suspicious Activities: Report any suspicious or potentially harmful activities to appropriate authorities or relevant stakeholders. By staying vigilant and proactive, we can collectively work towards a safer and more secure cyberspace for all.
